The Search (Engine Optimization) Continues...

We're approaching 2 months since we submitted our experimental website CloneYourPet.net to the search engines. The amazing news is that we're maintaining some very impressive position in yahoo.com and AlltheWeb.com For the search phrase "clone your pet" (no quotes) CloneYourPet.net is currently holding steady at number one! We have also achieved somewhat less exciting rankings in google, MSN and Alta Vista.

Our focus in this case study is expanding into building traffic now. Afterall, that is why we wish to gain position in the search results pages to begin with. We are instituting a few methods of gaining inbound links and have configured a few different ad campaigns for the site. We are monitoring the results and hope to have some exciting news to report in the coming months.
