The beginning of a Jacksonville Tradition

Beth King with Traditions Realty contacted Fuel Multimedia to take over their existing website. They weren't satisfied with their previous designer. Beth had done her homework and was gaining a good understanding of SEO principals. Her new-found knowledge made it painfully obvious that their current website was not up to snuff.

Wesley Black, chief web designer at Fuel Multimedia, began outlining the current website's functionality. The site used iframes to display MLS information from an external source. This is what allowed visitors to view their featured properties. The problem was that the data was not delivered as part of traditionsjax.com as far as the search engines were concerned. Overall, the old site was good from a graphic design standpoint, but fell short when it came to today's web design and SEO standards.

After a few short weeks of working with Beth King and Sally Suslak of Traditions Realty, their website was reborn. The new and improved website was built by customizing the WordPress system, which allowed the folks at Traditions Realty to perform their own updates. They can add virtual tours, open houses, press releases, slideshows, and more. They can add, edit and remove agents as they see fit. Certain pages import data from the external MLS website, then integrate and display listings as part of traditionsjax.com.

The next step is to begin marketing their new website to the search engines. We wish Traditions Realty the best of luck with their brand new website!

Fuel Multimedia completes a water conservation site

In 2009, Fuel Multimedia was approached by Mr. Jeff Hoffman to create a website for his water conservation organization, BlueWater Outreach. After viewing graphic mockups and speaking with Mr. Hoffman and his team about their vision for the site, Wesley Black of Fuel Multimedia decided that this would be the perfect opportunity to implement some of Fuel's new "Flash meets SEO" tactics.

This Flash website features a quick and clean intro animation with a custom scored soundtrack. The unique user interface provides a quirky way to navigate the site. Clicking on "bwo-to-go" or "bwo custom" provides you access to samples of the video, audio and printed materials contained in campaigns created by the BlueWater Outreach team. The BlueWater Outreach website also features an integrated blog, which is used to not only keep the world informed about water conservation, but also to build relevance in the search engines.

The amazing thing about this Flash-based website is that it is 100% indexed by search engines. A quick google search for site:bluewateroutreach.com returns 35 results. All of which are pages in this website. This method of Flash website design provides a feature-rich, and highly interactive experience for your visitors, coupled with uninhibited search engine marketability.

Contact Fuel Multimedia today to find out what kind of online magic we can work for your business.

BlueWater Outreach is an organization that makes public outreach programs both affordable and effective.
